I tabled this project before the pandemic. Years later, three signals stacked up at once: an old friend's question, dormant YouTube numbers out-pacing my paid work, and the speakers I'd sourced years ago mounted in a haunt I walked through. Then Meow Wolf chose Niantic. Then 8th Wall went open source. Here's why I'm picking it back up.
